Dirt Track Kart Racing

In the spring of 2011 I was contacted by the president of Tucson Kart Association and he asked me to drive one of his karts on a 1/8 mile dirt track.  I had a clean sweep, setting fast time and winning my first race on dirt.  Another kart owner came over and asked if I would drive his kart at the following race.  There were issues with the kart so I drove another owner’s kart and won the main event, my 2^nd race on dirt.  For the final race of the season I was asked by another owner to drive his kart in the 50 lap feature.  I set fast time, led 47 laps and finished 2^nd in the main event.  I have five pole positions, five wins and two second place finishes in eight races on the dirt driving four different karts.
